Description

The Sharpshooter Edition is one of the two decks of our Guns, Jazz & Whiskey Kickstarter campaign. Printed by Cartamundi on their True Linen B9 Finish. Entirely custom designed.

If you are a cardist wearing a three piece suit, a magician trying to win a rigged bet to get out of paying your bill, or a gambler playing a high roller table, here’s your deck. Perfect for a night at the speakeasy. The pearlescent tuck features the silhouette of Manhattan, quickly expanding around the side and the back.

All the court cards have been designed to represent what we feel is the true soul of New York City in the 1920s.
The Spades represent Jazz music. In this world, this is about the only thing that is truly pure. If you close your eyes, you can almost hear the angelic voice of Jasmine, and the melancholic notes of Victor’s sax.
The Hearts are the mobs. You’ll know them when you see them; finding proof of their illegal behavior, that is much harder. “Dottore”, even though only 29 years old, is the King of the neighborhood, and control every single shop.
The Clubs represent the cops. Surely many of them are decent women and man, but there is a whole lot of bad apples in this bunch. Chief Vincent Klubowski, in particular, is not to be trusted.
The Diamonds, finally, show the part of society that everybody wants to pretend doesn’t exist.  You can find all of them at the Bespectacled Swine, the most infamous speakeasy in the Lower East Side, where Hector slings watered-down whiskey.
